Shenelle Kuhlor Plummer LMSW
Are you struggling to meet societal, cultural, and even your own personal expectations? If so, this can leave you feeling overwhelmed and unfulfilled, often navigating life with a blurred vision of purpose, merely surviving instead of thriving.
In my work as a psychotherapist, I prioritize the utilization of strength-based & client centered approach to help my clients feel heard and empowered. In addition, I often incorporate other treatment approaches that consider cultural diversity, adverse childhood experiences, stages of development, and other environmental influences to get a holistic view of my client’s situation.
Making the decision to start therapy can create space for personal insight, growth, and healing. As your therapist, it’s my goal to ensure that you feel safe, supported, and equipped with the necessary tools to optimize your overall well-being. My choice modalities include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
Specialty areas include; healthy relationships, self-esteem/body image, infertility, survivors of Domestic Violence, grief and loss and toxic work environment as well as work related trauma.
