Psychological / Psychoeducational Evalautions

At Apple Psychological, we offer services known as Psychoeducational or Neuropsychological Evalautions to evaluate cognitive, academic, emotional and personality functioning.

Psychoeducational Evaluations assess current cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning. It will evaluate a person’s mental health status, coping resources, and look for signs of a psychiatric illness, learning disability, or an emotional disorder.

In many cases, these evaluations are, in part, reimbursed by insurance if you have out of network coverage.

Psychoeducational or Neuropsychological evaluations assesses:

Oppositional/defiant disorder, conduct disorder, or intermittent explosive disorder;
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Trauma/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Depression
Anxiety
Learning Disabilities/Dyslexia
Personality Disorders
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder;
Other Psychological and Psychiatric conditions

After the testing is completed, you will be scheduled for a feedback session to review the results, conclusions and recommendations.

The results of the testing will be discussed in detail along with recommendations for treatment and follow up.

Based on the results gained from this assessment, our team is available to support you at your Committee of Special Education as your advocate.
